TweetStats: Spy On Other Twitter Users (Calacanis, Scoble, Allison, Cashmore, etc.)

Last week I wrote about the need for Twitter analytics. This morning I found TweetStats which addresses some of the items I'd like to see. In fact, this might be one of the most fascinating tools I've come across in a while. TweetStats displays: total tweets by month, tweets by day, tweets by hour, direct replies "@", and the interface used to create the tweet.

Check out my charts which show that I sleep from 1am-6am eastern. January was my highest tweetie month so far with 1,093 tweets for an average of 36 per day! I only use the Web client and @industrygirl and @jowyang were my highest direct message counts. I noticed now that Jeremiah linked to TweetStats yesterday on Twitter.
